It seems that the memory in the much anticipated Motorola MPx will differ from your normal Pocket PC in that it will allow the user to perform a hard reset and keep all of their installed programs and files. According to a 'Mr. Blackwell', a communications software developer from the Pocket PC Thoughts forums, the 64 MB of ROM on the MPx will be used to hold user's applications and files leaving the OS to be stored somehwere else. Additionally the 32MB of RAM in the device will be used to hold running programs, something that makes the MPx run similar to your desktop PC.
