m2000 in October?

According to The Register (which nicely links to Paul of MoDaCo's news about it here) Orange are rumoured to be releasing the m2000 in October, I know phones have a short shelf life but they where only 'previewing' this phone in March, and selling it in June, this might be old news but i have had my head in the sand for a while.
