JokerÂ’s Quest is PDAMillÂ’s latest release and follows in a long line of great games including one of my favourites, Flux Challenge. DonÂ’t expect a futuristic 3D racer here though, this time PDAMill have proven themselves fine makers of strategy games too!
Graphically JokerÂ’s Quest is very pleasing on the eye, its not the 3D masterpiece that Flux Challenge is but then there is no need for such an engine in a strategy game, gameplay is the key in such a genre however the graphics are, IÂ’m pleased to report, bright, vibrant and fun!

The music is of the nautical theme as you would imagine, itÂ’s nice and clear and doesnÂ’t slow down the gameplay in anyway which is good, the bubbles and general fishy swimming noises are good fun although you might find yourself turning them off after a while, especially if youÂ’re in public.
The gameplay itself just what youÂ’d expect from a decent strategy game, easy to pick up, hard to master. You will find yourself completing the early levels with ease however the difficulty level increases over time and provides the challenge required to keep you coming back for more!
To conclude, JokerÂ’s Quest is a great little strategy game, youÂ’ll find yourself returning to play it again to try and progress to the next level of game play and, for me, that is what makes a strategy game successful, once again, good work PDAMill!
