O2 Xda StarO2 Germany have announced the Xda Star, a rebrand of the HTC Touch Dual that was announced recently (see our press conference coverage | Photos | HTC Touch Dual Press Release | Live Alerts round-up | HTC Q4 2007 devices Press Release). It appears to feature the SureType keypad as opposed to the standard numeric keypad which was an option we were told by HTC that could be taken by operators.

Features:
  • Windows Mobile 6 Professional
  • Triband GSM/GPRS/EDGE
  • Singleband UMTS/HSDPA up to 3.6 Mbps
  • Bluetooth 2.0+EDR
Unfortunately the Xda star will not feature WiFi, expect a release date of November.
