For once I'm not doing my normal thing of moaning in a public forum about stupid people / companies / things I made up / the voices in my head, I know it feels kinda wrong but I'm going to give it a go!
Today I'm going to talk about things I don't understand, not everything because that's a big list, but things that confused me this weekend.
This weekend's top confusing items are (in no particular order):
Washing machines: why have more than A rated wash and A rated half load settings, in the 4 years i've owned my washing machine i've never used anything but those settings.
Being rude to call center people: we all know its not their fault, so dont do it!, just because the comapny they work for is managed my morons dont be rude to the nice people who answer the phones. The last person i spoke to at sky was really nice, and after we had the nastyness of the company she works for being usless out of the way we had a nice chat, i even made her laugh.
The Sniffles: why do they appear on a friday and go by last orders sunday, it wastes a good weekend drinking , i really dislike being ill.
Women: its a mystery in it self, but if any of our fine female readership want to tell me the secrets let me know (im not a psychopath, i've just done technical support).
Things not to watch on a projector: cooking programmes, a 2 meter salmon and stilton thingy looks yucky (even worse when the skybox freezes and its there for like 10 minuites or something).
Sunday telly: why is all the good things i want to watch on so late. some of us need to at least pretend to get up in time for work.
One other thing that's confusing me is the wonderful world of alexa.com and its ranking systems, as its company policy here not to talk about things like this on pain of having me explain the rules of pie roulette for 4 hours whilst drinking vodka nightnurse smoothies, I was bored and having a bit of a snoop about and found our little site here is surprisingly popular, in the stupidly long time i have been paid to do 'internet', this site (MSMobileNews.com, just in case you're reading from beersoft.net) is the most popular one i've done, its on average 500% more popular than every other site i have done, and thats including the secret midgetporn project i never talk about.i dunno, i think its a "yay for us, we are popular and don't know why"!
So apart from having the man flu (sniffles) and my Sky working and way to many crimbo adverts on the telly in November, things are looking ok (i think), i do recommend Smart cars still, and letting the nice people at smartsrus.com tinker with the ECU, it does make it a little more fun (ok, a metric arseload more fun)!
I can also recommend this. Its very funny, and sometimes talks about me, i like talking about me, im important and everything.
