Right then, this has been an odd weekend I've just had and I'm now full of good advice, I think I'll just list it as I'm lazy and can't be bothered to do proper writing!
1. If your mysql database server goes mental and runs out of drive space with transaction logs, stop and start the server, don't ever decide to detach the database and delete the transaction log file and reattach the database. It doesn't work and causes point number 2 to happen 2. Microsoft PSS support kick ass, they are very clever and 9/10 fix the problem without resorting to point 3, props to Noel for talking to me for way too long on Friday night (from 11pm 'til 2am) and the other 3 hours I spent on the phone being calm and helping me spend £200 3. Backups are a good thing(TM), and having backups enable point 4 4. If you have a backup, you can have beer at some point (see point 5) 5. If you're living the playboy lifestyle you can turn your fridge up to the max and it cools beer very quickly, living the playboy lifestyle means you have no real food in the fridge and nothing is going to go black and manky 6. Always have some bicarbonate of soda in the fridge, if for some random reason you have food in the fridge and it goes off it doesn't smell 7. Always keep more alcohol than sauces in the fridge at all time 8. Having more soap than food in the fridge is a little strange, but it does happen quite a lot in my house 9. lush.com addictions are normal, and you should always keep hand made soaps from melting 10. My cat doesn't like mice, she thinks she does but can't eat a whole one!
So that kinda explains the weekend I had, I'm sure other things happened but I have a pocket full of signed NDA's and for some reason a letter written in blood saying "you talk about this to anyone and I'm going to kill your Neighbours' family, which is a little extreme but a fair deal as it was, oh bugger I can't tell you can I, swiftly moving on, I recommend the bicarbonate of soda thing in the fridge, lush soaps, and responsible drinking
