Ok, i'm grumpy now, in December I got some new tires for the Punto of fun, and being the non-mechanic that I am, I went to Kwickfit, they had tires in stock, and it only took them 45 mins to do, which was great. So i'm happy with the car, it does corners and stopping and stuff, i'm a happy bunny!
Then it all goes wrong, a few weeks later I get a call from the 'customer services' people asking how it was, and when my insurance is due (a bit personal I think) so I tell them, some vague date in march and think nothing of it.
Fast foward to last friday, I get a call from 01698 786105 (save this number, its important for later on) from Kwikfit insurance and they offer me this great quote, which gets the standard response 'send it me in writing and i'll think about it' which they wont do, so they get politely told to ram it and I get on with the rest of my day.
2 hours later, when i'm on my way back from lunch the muppets call me again, I explain that I have had a quote, and need it in writing. The phonemonkey then goes on about who supplies my gas and electric and I thought 'hmm I haven't been really rude to anyone yet today i'll give it a go'.
So i'm talking to some other phonemonkey now, and there offering me some great savings on my utility bills, 'great, ok send it me in writing and i'll look over it' *ERR ERR* 'sorry we cant do that', 'ok bye don't call me again'
This goes on over Saturday, Sunday and Monday, same 2 sets of stupid calls, same need for it in writing, same 'can't do that', then it hits me, my mobile number is in the TPS so what the hell are they doing phoning me selling me crap?
So I give this number +44-1506-856-789 a call (its Kwickfits head office) and ask to speak to someone with a brain, explain the TPS to them and remind them its a £5,000 fine per offence, and they're upto £50,000 already, so my number is off there records and i'm getting confirmation in writing (yay!)
So in summary, Kwikfit suck, and if you have to use them use the following number as a contact number 01506 856789 because they have nothing better to do than waste our valuable time, and them calling there own head office is just funny (and i do see the irony in spending time writing this!)
