It must be that time of the month again as everyone (well not everyone, but some of us) seems to be a bit on edge and snappy and before i get into a rant about all the things that have made me cross and shake my fist at the computer in a 'gosh darnit, that was a stupid thing for them to say' i thought it was a good time to remind people of the truths about the internet
1) we where all new once, be gentle with the new ones
2) the people helping you are doing it out of the kindness of there heart, so don't bite the hand that feeds
3) dont feed the trolls, it looks like fun but always ends in tears
4) if you wouldn't say it to your mother, don't post it in a public forum
5) don't kick the lions, its all smiles and laughter now, but it gets messy very quickly (lions = mods/ops, kicking = doing something stupid)
so basically, if you don't play nicely, someone will take the ball away and you will be stuck on the team with the fat kid no-one really likes!
