this has nothing to do with leigh the curry monster over at cool smart phone.com, its i've run out of witty titles for blog entries and im feeling a little narked
my number one thing thats causing destruction of computer hardware this week will be JOOMLA and scriptkiddies, i know i have a huge programmer ego and wrote the site that funk built from scrach, but how hard can it be to write a content manglement system that is safe and secure, not a complete tart and anyones after 2 glasses of wine (like i am). short version of the story, one of the sites on the server we are on decided instead of running the terible code i wrote 2 years ago a off the shelf package would do the job better, needless to say, someone has had a visit from mister cattleprod and i've smoked lots fixing things.
the other thing thats causing angry faces today, do you want to guess?, bet you cant.

interfering with my watching smut on the projector to 'save me money' on my phone bill and broadband. i dont think he understood "piss off, no you cant save me money on my phone bill, i made 12p worth of calls last quater" and a followup of "no your free broadband isnt a good offer, its free and your supports crap i have heard, and i want a static ip address, and to beable to run servers and not have a usage limit, thats why i pay for my internet" then the medication kicked in and i stumped him with a classic "so free national calls? that include 087 numbers? <pause> no? <slam of door>". He did have a nice tie on, but too much product in his hair and nasty shoes.
thats it, im done, im going back to rewriting all my technical documentation into a more erotic fiction style, maybe people will read it and stop asking me silly questions at work
