Those lucky Dutch people are the first to be guaranteed the opportunity to get their hands on the upcoming Voq Professional Smartphone, read the following press release fore more information:
Sierra Wireless announced today that it has signed an agreement with KPN to launch and sell the Voq Professional Phone and the VoqMail Professional Edition product to customers in the Netherlands. The new Voq Professional Phone, a pocketable Microsoft Windows Mobile based SmartPhone developed by Sierra Wireless, is expected to be commercially available to KPN customers in the second quarter of 2004. Designed for business professionals, the Voq Professional Phone is a new class of mobile phone that offers the best features of a mobile phone, a personal messaging device, and a PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) - in one. The product offers a flip-open QWERTY thumbpad and easy-to-use software solutions including VoqMail, a secure, Always-there e-mail solution that requires no additional enterprise server or desktop redirector software to purchase, install, and maintain. The Voq phone will also offer unique search, send, and store capabilities delivered by the myVoq software application for easy and predictive search, storage, and sending of data.
