Out and about in town today I took a quick trip into my local Orange retail store and what did I find? Well the space for the M2000 minus a dummy model and a price (although I had the prices confirmed to me, you'll need to spend £25 or more to get a decent discount on the handset price). Unfortunately Orange's POS was a little inaccurate as has been the case in the past (remember the Motorola MPx200 supposedly having Windows Mobile 2003 for Smartphone preinstalled?), it turns out that the M2000 runs 'Microsoft Smartphone' operating system, whoops! I think you'll find its just the normal Pocket PC version of Windows Mobile 2003, can someone please tell Orange!
Secondly my local retail store have the POS up for the C500 on Pay as You Go! Even better than that it was priced at £139.99, thats £10 cheaper than was reported a few days ago, nice one Orange! Anyone without a C500 has NO excuse now, go and buy one!
