If you've played with watching videos/movies on your Windows Mobile Smartphone or Pocket PC then the chances are that you will have come across CorePlayer in one of its incarnations, it began life ads BetaPlayer, then changed its name to TCPMP (The Core Pocket Media Player) and now has the name CorePlayer for it final release. So that's great news then, the player is now bug free! Well yes it may well be but this has come at a cost - $24.95 to be precise. This is how much the developer is now charging for the software that, when in beta form, was free. This is a real shame as this was the ultimate video playback software for Windows Mobile supporting a whole host of formats including H.264, MPEG, DivX, XviD and WMV. I guess you'll make your own mind up regarding whether or not you're happy to reward the developer for their hard work in developing the program, its worth the cash most definitely but its a hit when we're all so used to getting it for free!
