On the back of our recent iPod Nano alu-leather case review here?s a review of its silicon counterpart.
You can compare prices of Ipod Nano Case and buy online today.
ProportaMusic.com impressed us with their alu-leather case offering a very protective case; however some people prefer to trade off some of the protection and use a case that allows the use of their device without opening a flap, step in the silicon case. This offers cut-outs around the thumbwheel and the screen as well as the hold button and base connections so that the user can operate their Nano with ease. You obviously lose some protection; perhaps combining the silicon case with a screen protector would be the perfect combination? The case is made of what seems to be good quality silicon and fits the Nano very well. It has a screw hole on the back and comes with a screw and belt clip; there is also a small loop on the case to make use of the bundled lanyard. The case is frosted but transparent which means that the iPod Nano?s colour can be seen through the case which is great and this case definitely cuts down on the bulk that some cases come with which is great as many people buy an iPod Nano as a result of its size.
Would I recommend the ProportaMusic.com?s silicon case? Yes. Would I recommend the silicon case over the alu-leather case? That depends. If you use a screen protector too then the answer is probably yes but otherwise I?d get the alu-leather option as it covers the whole device and offers unparalleled protection.
The silicon case from ProportaMusic.com costs £11.95 including tax but excluding delivery and comes in white, charcoal, pink and blue finishes which allow you to personalise your iPod should you wish to do so. You can see the product page and buy the case by clicking here.
