O2O2 Germany have announced the latest in their line of XDAs, named 'terra' and 'nova' the new devices are based on the HTC Herald and Elf designs respectively (see our UK first Herald review here ).

The Herald (terra) is the HTC Wizard replacement and offers a slide-out QWERTY keyboard yet is only 17 mm's thick! it does however lack 3G connectivity but will counteract that with the inclusion of Windows Mobile 6 Professional pre-installed! RRP is expected to be €150 and it shoudl be available in May 07.

The Elf (nova) also lacks 3G connectivity but attempts to bring the Pocket PC platform to the masses with a low retail price (expected to be around €100) whilst also featuring Windows Mobile 6! It also features Wi-Fi 802.11b/g, Bluetooth 2.0 and a microSD slot, not bad for the price eh?The Nova should hit shelves in approximately June of 2007.
