Vodafone Business Email is great right? The first operator to offer their own branded Blackberry-competitor solution utilising the services of Visto. Well that's all well and good but what happens when a company, on instruction, buys a set of brand spanking new HTC S710 Windows Mobile 6 Smartphones, thus embracing mobile email technology? They get let down, that's what happens! You see it would appear that Visto's solution is currently not Windows Mobile 6 compatible, it is yet to be released to Vodafone who in turn will then have to perform their own testing before releasing it to the customer! 
I can confirm that the new software is very close to a public release having been in the same room as a working version  |

Has this been solved yet? I have just got a v1615 (TyTN II) with VBE but I can't get it to activate. I can download the file when prompted (vf_uk_wm2005.cab) and it installs but when it tries to activate it complains that it can't connect and I should check I can access the data connection using explorer - which works fine. Help! Do we need to wait for some wm2006 version to appear? |
