iPhone to hit the UK on O2 on 9th November

Apple and O2 have announced the release of the Apple iPhone which will take place on 9th November 2007. With the phone having been previously released in the USA this should stem the flow of unlocked iPhone's heading over the water from the west! Expect to be forced into signing up to an 18 month contract on a tariff of £35 (200 minutes and 200 texts), £45 (600 minutes and 500 texts) or £55 per month (1200 minutes and 500 texts). On the plus side, these all include unlimited mobile data usage with a fair use policy. For more information visit the Apple iPhone's UK website here.
