Vaja cases: iPod Nano Case Print E-mail

You can compare prices of MP3 Player Cases and buy online today.

You may remember our early reviews of the Alu-leather and Silicon iPod Nano cases (see the bottom of this article for links); well recently we've been in touch with Vaja cases, makers of some very nice cases, not only for iPods but also mobile phones and other mobile devices such as PSPs. Well seeing as they don't make a case for my current phone I've chosen to review their iPod Nano case in the hope that it represents not only itself but also Vaja's cases as a whole so that, should you like the sound of their product but only own a Windows Mobile device, you will still be tempted!

To start with it's green. It's very green! But that's actually not the first thing that caught my attention when I received the package in the post. That was the over-riding smell of real leather, you see this and all Vaja case are made of a high quality "full grain cowhide" that "comes from the top ten percent of Argentina's leather" . That's not just marketing spiel either, it really is of a high standard, you'll appreciate that from the moment you unwrap it. This case fits my iPod Nano very well, the Nano slides in from the top and is held in place very securely, the screen is protected by a sheet of tough transparent plastic and the navigation wheel is left open so that you can feasibly use your Nano whilst keeping it in the case, something that is essential in my opinion.

The leather has a nice padded feel to it too, I really can't stress enough just how good the quality of this case comes across, but you are getting what you pay for as Vaja cases come in on the high end of the market. The case featured in this review retails at a starting price of $55, I say it starts at that price as you can fully customise your case in terms of colours (there's a choice of 30 at the time of writing!), belt clips, rivet clips, personalised names, logos, a wheel protector and more!

So would I buy a Vaja case? Well in terms of quality there's absolutely no doubt in my mind, the case I reviewed is both stylish, well made and generally of a very high quality. If you're very protective of your mobile device and can justify the initial outlay you won't be disappointed.

Vaja cases for all sorts of devices can be viewed and ordered from the Vaja website.

Thanks to Vaja themselves for the product sample.
