You may or may not remember a news article that we posted a while ago announcing a product by a company called Muzikwear, the product in question was a t-shirt that held your portable music player and all of its wires, well with the C550 being marketed as a music phone we thought it relevant to see if this product would work with it!
The t-shirt itself looks like your average black t-shirt (the shirt is available in numerous colours) when you first unwrap it however, look a little closer and you'll notice a small pocket on the left arm and some flaps leading from the pocket to the neck. Put simply, the pocket holds you music player and the flaps hold and route your headphones to your ears. It?s a simple idea and does what it aims to do very well. The pocket to hold your music player holds the C550 and any other Smartphone or music player of about that size or smaller sufficiently which means it passes stage one of the test!

The headphones are routed through a flap further up your arm to a system just below the back of your neck that houses a rubber strip that grips your headphones leaving just the end of the headphones dangling over your shoulders ready to use. Again this all works as it should so it seems that the design of the t-shirt matches its specifications well.

With the shirt meeting its criteria the final talking point is whether the criteria combine to produce a product that the market will want. I guess you yourselves will make that decision, I have to say that this won't be something that I?ll be wearing very regularly however it does make a good solution to listening to music whilst at the gym and/or riding a bike and I?m sure that motorcyclists could find a use for it, whether you're willing to pay $29.99 for the privilege of not using your pocket though is something I can't answer.
The Muzikwear t-shirts can be bought directly from Muzikwear for $29.99, for more information and to buy a shirt see here.
