Here's another little hint that dawned on me last night whilst reading people's early experiences of the SPV M700 on the various Windows Mobile websites. When using the integrated GPS it is as simple as selecting COM9 in your GPS program's settings. I'm getting mixed results on the speed of initial fix but have made one change to the popular recommendation. People are stating that the easiest way to connect TomTom for example is to select 'Other Bluetooth GPS' setting and choose COM9. Why choose Bluetooth? That'll just waste your battery! Choose 'Other NMEA GPS' and your phone wont turn on Bluetooth which will give you longer battery life.
